Ways to Give

Cash

Donations to the school are welcomed at any time during the school year. Cash donations can be made by check payable to St. Joseph Elementary School.

Securities

Donations of stock can offer considerable tax advantages for many donors and are quite simple to execute. In most cases, the full market value of the securities can be deducted. For instructions on how to make a gift of stock, contact the school office.

Matching Gifts

Many employers match their employee’s donations to charitable organizations. This is a wonderful way to leverage your gift to the school. If you are not sure if your employer offers matching gift opportunities, the school office can find out and help you obtain the proper documentation.

Bequest Intention

You can assure a legacy that lasts beyond your lifetime by making a provision in your will for St. Joseph Elementary School. If you would like information about making a gift that will help the future students of St. Joseph, please call the school office.

Planned Giving

Donors can help secure the long-term financial health of the school through gifts that come to the school in the future or over a period of time. Charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts, or pooled income funds are all examples of life income gifts, or “gifts that give back.” With these gift vehicles, the donor named as the income beneficiary receives income for life or specified terms of years in return for the gift to the school. For more information, please call the school office.

Gifts In-Kind

An in-kind gift can be given to St. Joseph for immediate benefit, which in turn is used throughout campus or for special events (auction/raffle). Gifts range from computers, file cabinets, weekend cabins, airline miles, and goods and/or services for use as auction/raffle prizes.

Memorial or Honorary Gifts

A gift to the school in memory or honor of an individual helps perpetuate the values of a loved one’s life. Gifts may honor a person during his or her lifetime, or when that person has passed.
