Throughout its history, St. Joseph Elementary School has relied on the generosity of its parents and friends to support the important work of the school. St Joseph Elementary School is a non-profit IRS 501(c)3 educational institution and all gifts are tax deductible. Funding for SJES is primarily derived from tuition and fees, however fundraising efforts are necessary because these revenues alone do not cover the cost of each student’s education. Contributions are accepted through a variety of means including cash gifts, employee matching gifts, securities and planned gifts that encompass gift annuities, life insurance and bequests, and gifts-in-kind. The Annual Fund is our yearly fundraising effort that provides unrestricted gifts to the operating budget of the St. Joseph Elementary School. Your support is essential to the school’s success in providing an outstanding academic program, attracting and retaining dedicated faculty members, supporting students financially and maintaining our facilities. El Rancho Day Fiesta
El Rancho Day Fiesta is the annual family carnival at St. Joseph Elementary School and will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2012 from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. The event raises money for the school through ticket sales for game booths, food, drinks and desserts. The event also includes a raffle with cash prizes totaling $4250. Admission is free. The Auction Party is held annually in the spring and is the primary fundraiser sponsored by the St. Joseph Parent-Teacher Group (PTG). The fundraiser proceeds are used for school capital improvements such as the recently completed renovations of the bathrooms and kitchen, new classroom technical equipment, and new playground equipment. The Auction includes both a silent and live auction along with dinner and dancing to live music. Please contact the PTG Auction chair for information about making a donation for the event and/or attending.
