¡Hola! My name is Patricia Felix and I am the middle school Spanish teacher for grades 5-8. My nationality is of Costarican, Peruvian and Nicaraguan descent. I am bilingual and fluent in English and Spanish; in all subjects. I'm also a salsa instructor and love working on crafts as well as going to the movies. This is my third year at St. Joseph Elementary School and I'm very pleased with all the success the students have had with my class. I'm enjoying my time with all of them and feel honored to be a part of their Spanish learning experience once again.
I've been in the teaching field for 16+ years working in Private, Public, Charter and Independent schools as well as private tutoring and home schooling. I've been fortunate to have had such wonderful experiences with all the staff and faculty throughout the years.
St. Joseph Elementary School is not a new experience for me. My son began his Catholic Education here in Kindergarten and has continued into the high school, St. Joseph Notre Dame. He will be a Junior this year and is enjoying the high school life. I'm very involved with both schools as well as with the parish and as a graduate of St. Joseph Notre Dame, I'm blessed to say that I am part of such a great community.
